Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately. Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and licensing standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Uphold all licensing requirements, including CPR certification and adherence to medical terminology standards. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively. Experience working in medical spas or occupational health settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans. Prior experience with pain management techniques and client communication is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices enhances service quality.
