Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist (New & Experienced Welcome) Skin Bar VII | Detroit, MI Skin Bar VII is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about wellness, client care, and delivering a high-quality, results-driven experience. We welcome both new graduates and experienced therapists who are eager to grow, build a strong clientele, and work in a professional, luxury spa environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, client-focused, and motivated to contribute to both the client experience and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform professional massage services customized to each client's needs Provide a relaxing, therapeutic, and results-driven experience Conduct client consultations and assess individual needs and preferences Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and professional treatment room standards Educate clients on services, enhancements, and wellness benefits Promote and recommend additional services and membership options Support client retention through rebooking and relationship building Maintain accurate client notes and service records Contribute to a positive, team-oriented spa environment

Qualifications:

Licensed Massage Therapist (State of Michigan required) New graduates welcome; experience preferred Experience in cupping and/or specialized modalities preferred Knowledge of additional modalities such as deep tissue, hot stone, lymphatic drainage, or similar techniques is a plus Professional, reliable, and client-focused Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to learn, grow, and take feedback Comfortable recommending services and contributing to spa revenue

Signature Modality Expectation:

Each Massage Therapist at Skin Bar VII is encouraged to bring or develop a signature modality or specialty that enhances the client experience and sets them apart. This may include (but is not limited to): Cupping Therapy Lymphatic Drainage Deep Tissue or Pain Relief Focus Hot Stone Therapy Body Sculpting or Wellness Enhancements We value therapists who take ownership of their craft and are committed to continuous growth and specialization .
