In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support overall health and well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve relief from stress, muscle tension, and discomfort while fostering a welcoming and caring environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives through personalized care and holistic healing practices. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and specialized therapies such as Reiki services. Conduct thorough client consultations to assess symptoms, medical history, and specific wellness goals. Utilize medical software to document client information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately. Educate clients on self-care practices, including breastfeeding support, postpartum care, nutrition advice, and working with families. Manage intake procedures and ensure proper patient assessment before each session. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment adhering to health regulations and hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment options and progress while fostering trust and comfort during sessions. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing. Demonstrated experience in patient service and patient care within a clinical or wellness setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote consultations or follow-up sessions is a plus. Experience working with diverse populations including postpartum women and families is highly desirable. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to labor & delivery, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding support enhances your ability to serve clients effectively. Prior experience offering holistic therapies such as Reiki or integrating nutrition advice into wellness plans is advantageous.
