Overview Join Botanica, an established clinic for integrative massage specializing in natural approaches to pain relief. Your role as a licensed massage therapist is to bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver expert massage services tailored to individual needs, utilizing your deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to promote healing and pain management. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions including neuromuscular and myofascial therapies to address various musculoskeletal issues. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery. Educate clients on self-care techniques and occupational health practices that support ongoing wellness. Stay current and informed on pain management modalities & evidence based research pertaining to manual therapy. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, patient progress, and any relevant health information while adhering to confidentiality standards. Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive pain management strategies for clients with chronic or acute conditions. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment that prioritizes exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist Professional liability insurance Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Commitment to ongoing professional development in massage techniques and healthcare practices. Reliable and dependable- consistent schedule attendance is a must.
Pay:
$40.00 - $70.00 per hour
