Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic myofascial massage treatments to patients, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the effectiveness of their treatments.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to massage therapy practice.
Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist.
- Proven experience in performing physical examinations and assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong understanding of pain management techniques and acute pain management.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Our therapist will train you in Myofascial release treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
