Job Description

Job Summary Schoolcraft College is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Stretch Practitioner to work one-on-one with clients to deliver customized assisted stretching sessions, assess movement patterns, and help clients achieve greater flexibility, mobility, and body awareness. The mission of the College is to provide a transformational learning experience designed to increase the capacity of individuals and groups to achieve intellectual, social, and economic goals. Job Duties Provide safe, effective, and personalized assisted stretching sessions (45 minutes). Assess clients' mobility limitations and create tailored stretching and restorative exercise plans. Educate clients on proper stretching techniques and body maintenance. Maintain accurate client records and progress notes. Ensure a clean, welcoming, and professional environment. Build rapport with clients to encourage retention and referrals. Participate in company mandated ongoing training and skill development. Required Qualifications 1. Experience / background in one or more of the following areas: Personal training Massage Therapy Physical Therapy / Chiropractic Assistant Yoga, Pilates, and/or Athletic Coaching 2. Current and active Certification in Stretch Therapy or Massage Therapy. 3. Willingness to complete company-provided training. 4. Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and safe movement practices. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed. Physical Requirements Schoolcraft College is an AA/EEO Employer.
Writing Skills:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Office Environment:
This role may involve standing for long periods of time, working on a treatment table, repeating the same movements, and the use of hands for stretching techniques, as well as to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, use arms/hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee will regularly move to 10 lbs., occasionally up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

Salary:
$24-35 per session
