Job Summary LUXE Body Bar is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist who is professional, personable, dependable, and passionate about helping clients feel and function their best. The ideal candidate is confident performing a variety of massage techniques and is comfortable assessing a client's needs and recommending an appropriate treatment plan. We are looking for someone who understands that successful massage therapy isn't simply providing a great massage—it includes educating the client, documenting their treatment, recommending how often they should return, and suggesting additional services or products when appropriate. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys traditional massage therapy while also wanting to expand their skills into lymphatic, detox, body contouring, and wellness-focused treatments. Responsibilities & Duties Perform customized massage services based on individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, therapeutic and sports massage Consult with clients to understand areas of concern, goals, preferences, contraindications, and relevant health history Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans, including suggested frequency and follow-up appointments Educate clients about appropriate LUXE services, enhancements, packages, memberships, and retail products Be comfortable recommending and selling services and products based on the client's individual needs without using a high-pressure approach Complete accurate and thorough client charting and treatment notes after every appointment Track client progress and adjust treatment recommendations when appropriate Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire client experience Walk clients to the front desk following treatment and communicate recommended next steps and rebooking needs Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and relaxing treatment environment Prepare and reset treatment rooms between clients Maintain professional boundaries, client confidentiality, and appropriate standards of care Arrive on time, prepared, and ready for scheduled appointments Communicate effectively with front desk staff and other LUXE providers regarding client care and follow-up Participate in ongoing training and continuing education Be willing and excited to learn additional LUXE services, including lymphatic body treatments, vacuum cupping, body exfoliation treatments, detox/body wraps, infrared sauna protocols, and other non-invasive body and wellness treatments Support client retention through excellent service, follow-up, rebooking, and personalized recommendations Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Current Michigan Massage Therapy License or Certification in good standing Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques Experience with deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, sports, and therapeutic massage preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable educating clients and recommending treatment plans, packages, memberships, and retail products Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate charting Dependable, punctual, professional, and organized Comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative team Willingness to learn new techniques, technology, services, and treatment protocols Professional appearance and demeanor Passion for wellness and creating an exceptional client experience Schedule & Availability We are looking for a therapist who can provide consistent availability and build a regular clientele at LUXE .

Availability may include:

Weekday and/or evening shifts Approximately two Saturdays per month Consistent scheduled hours to allow clients to rebook with the same provider Flexibility as clientele and appointment demand grow Reliability and punctuality are extremely important. Our clients schedule specifically with their providers, so we are looking for someone who values consistency and takes ownership of their schedule and clientele. Compensation & Growth Compensation will be discussed based on experience, availability, and qualifications.
