Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage strategies and customize treatment plans accordingly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay informed about current massage therapy techniques, medical terminology, and pain management strategies to continually enhance service quality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and occupational health initiatives. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue work, sports therapy, or trigger point therapy. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and effective treatment planning. Prior experience working in med spa environments or healthcare settings preferred; familiarity with patient communication and customer service is highly valued. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as prenatal massage or sports massage are advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage pain relief treatments and adapt techniques based on individual client needs. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse clients.
