Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual patient needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure optimal results Communicate effectively with patients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide post-session care advice Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and spa standards Keep detailed records of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans for future reference Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Promote patient retention through excellent customer service and building strong professional relationships Requirements Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in multiple modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to pain management and therapeutic massage techniques Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and occupational health issues Experience working with diverse populations including prenatal clients and those requiring specialized pain management treatments Ability to work flexible hours including evenings Join our fast paced, energetic team where your skills will be valued in a vibrant environment dedicated to whole body wellness.
