Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy Chiropractic Office. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where clients feel cared for and valued, contributing to their health and happiness. Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment plans. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels, treatment expectations, and any contraindications or medical conditions. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and active listening. Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Proven experience in pain management through various massage modalities including trigger point therapy and deep tissue work. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate treatment plans clearly. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain client trust. Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations; Experience with prenatal massage, sports therapy, or medical massage is highly desirable for this role.
