Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapies including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify specific areas of concern. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex or chronic conditions. Uphold all safety protocols related to occupational health standards and hygiene practices within the spa or clinic setting. Requirements Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Expertise in advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for maintaining a safe treatment environment. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively assess patient needs and explain treatment options clearly.
