• Job Overview Skyhaven Massage & Wellness is a locally owned business looking for experienced massage therapists to expand and build a dedicated team of healers.

We honor each individual and offer customized sessions to help each client find healing of the body, mind and soul through Therapeutic Massage techniques, Lymphatic drainage, Craniosacral, Shiatsu, Cupping, and Energy Healing modalities, such as Reiki. A variety of skills and modalities are welcome.

Key Notes:

• This is an independent contractor position open to rent or commission structure. This means, it's crucial you have your own client base as you will be independently working in the space. The owner will help promote you, send out marketing materials, and share within Skyhaven's community-but you are your own boss.
• Flexible scheduling to choose your own hours and maximum hours.
• There's training available If there's a modality you are interested in.
• Applicants must have some experience and a minimum client following.

As well as completed education in Massage Therapy. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Capable of 60 minute to 2 hour massage sessions (can choose options) 30 minutes prep time between clients Client communication, rescheduling and booking follow up sessions as needed Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas of discomfort. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations within the treatment area. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Massage experience with an established book of business Strong knowledge of pain management strategies and techniques. Proficiency in deep tissue massage and other therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy and patient care. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to assess client needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Requirements:

• 500+ hours of massage education with proof of completion
• Current insurance, preferably with AMTA or ABMP
• Positive energy and good hygiene
• Good communication skills
• Very reliable, on-time and works well independently
