Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being. If you have a passion for helping others and possess strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, we would love to hear from you. Commission based pay.Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client comfort and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Expertise in deep tissue massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Familiarity with occupational health guidelines and practices
- Experience in acute pain management and pain relief techniques
- Excellent patient service skills, including active listening and empathy
