Overview. $40-$60 per hour ($30 per service hour plus tips), full time receives additional full time bonus of $6,000 each year of employment. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health strategies, and pain management techniques to enhance their recovery and wellness. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new massage techniques, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and anatomy knowledge. Qualifications Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations. Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for pain management. Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient assessment methods and adapt treatments accordingly. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
