Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring wellness, relaxation, and pain relief to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver expert massage therapy services that promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques combined with your compassionate approach will create a positive and transformative experience for each patient. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual patient needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting procedures and patient responses in compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, answer questions, and build trusting relationships Stay current with the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, trigger point therapy, and medical massage techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience with patient assessment and pain management strategies Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence CPR certification is required; additional certifications in occupational health or med spa services are a plus Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your healing touch makes a real difference!
