Job Description

Licensed Deep Tissue Massage Specialist Lee's Summit, MO 64082 From $30 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $30 an hour - Part-time, Full-time We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The perfect candidate will be fully licensed in Missouri, specialize in deep tissue massage, have a professional appearance and a positive attitude. We have availability for full-time , and can assure you a full schedule (25 hours of massage per week) upon starting. Available hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am-7:00pm and every other Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm. We will provide the clientele, scheduling, payment collection from clients, lotions, sheets, and space. Pay will be per massage and you keep 100% of your tips. We are an integrated medical and chiropractic office with massage clients booked through 2027. This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments tailored to individual needs. The Massage Therapist will create a welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional patient service and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or pain Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support long-term wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress in compliance with healthcare standards Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients, adhering to sanitation and safety protocols Stay updated on the latest advancements in massage therapy, including med spa procedures and new therapeutic techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively and customizing treatments based on individual needs Experience Proven experience in massage therapy, preferably with med spa or occupational health settings Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Skilled in various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for pain management Prior experience with patient assessment and developing personalized treatment plans is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a calming and professional environment Familiarity with occupational health practices related to workplace wellness programs This role offers an opportunity for dedicated professionals passionate about health and wellness to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives through expert massage therapy.
