Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, preferences, and medical histories. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies to support ongoing health and wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all sanitation, safety, and licensing regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and tailor treatments accordingly for maximum benefit. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and medical terminology. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience delivering a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans. Prior experience working in a medical spa or healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Knowledge of pain management strategies and patient assessment methods is highly desirable.
