Job Description
Overview Are you a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist ready to make a positive impact on the well-being of your clients? Join our dynamic team where you will provide exceptional therapeutic services, helping individuals achieve relaxation and relief from pain. Your expertise in various massage techniques will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' overall health and wellness. We are looking for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is eager to contribute to a culture of care and excellence. We offer Deep Tissue, Swedish, Ashiatsu, Thai and Reiki. Experience in at least 2 modalities, preferred. What you'll do Deliver personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain levels, and specific concerns. Implement effective pain management strategies through targeted massage techniques and client education. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and feedback to ensure continuity of care. Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries with professionalism. Stay informed about anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Collaborate with other health professionals within the spa environment to promote holistic wellness approaches. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with occupational health guidelines. Basic qualifications Valid state license as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Preferred qualifications Experience in spa settings or similar environments. Proficiency in various massage modalities including deep tissue and swedish massage. Experience in Thai & Ashiatsu massage, a plus. Willing to work at least 1 night and 1 weekend day. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
