Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and health conditions. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on post-session care. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Educate clients on pain management strategies, injury prevention, and overall wellness practices to support their ongoing health goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the overall care experience. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide clear explanations of treatment plans. Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
