Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional patient service. This role is essential in promoting wellness and pain management through various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage. If you are passionate about helping others achieve their health goals and have experience in a med spa or clinical setting, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy. Document treatment sessions accurately, including patient progress and any changes in condition. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Qualifications Licensed Massage Therapist with certification from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy. Experience in occupational health or pain management is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
