Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and patient feedback Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations Educate clients on pain management techniques, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to support ongoing wellness Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements Collaborate with medical professionals when necessary to coordinate care and discuss patient assessments using medical terminology Provide exceptional patient service by listening attentively, addressing concerns, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current credentials and certifications in CPR Proven experience in massage therapy, particularly in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health settings Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques to effectively treat diverse conditions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their individual needs Familiarity with med spa environments or similar wellness settings is preferred Ability to perform massage therapy safely while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality Knowledge of medical terminology useful for patient assessment and treatment documentation Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to improving clients' quality of life.
