Job Description
Nationwide wellness company seeking Licensed Massage Therapist for Meridian, MS location. Must enjoy fitness and helping others.
•This is a commission position
•Responsible for providing massage therapy services to members and other clients. Schedules assessments, consultations and other program services in accordance with the center's scheduling system and policies. Greets customers in a friendly and caring manner Provide a wide variety of massage services at pre-determined times throughout the week and weekend. Must stay current on trends in massage such as new techniques or approaches demanded by the public. Confirm all scheduled appointments by calling the Center the day prior Maintain all necessary expendable supplies (as applicable) Develop and maintain specialized marketing materials (brochures) Assure that the work area has appropriate wall coverings, music and other furnishings Furnish Center with business cards and marketing documents Comply with provisions of state laws and any federal rules/regulations relating to the licensure and regulation of massage services Maintains confidentiality of all client information and releases information only after appropriate consent is obtained Demonstrates responsiveness to customer/guest needs by being available to answer questions Recognizes that customers have a sense of urgency and can show them we value their time by treating everyone fairly and respectfully, apologizing for problems and inconveniences Know, understand and adhere to the responsibilities of the job including Corporate Compliance, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act), appropriate lines of authority and all other regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies Consult with General Manager in any uncertain/unusual situations regarding policies or procedures Always maintains a professional and courteous manner while dealing with members and the public Demonstrated ability to effectively speak in front of groups When requested, adjusts personal schedule to meet department needs and accepts additional work assignments Performs other related duties as assigned This is a commission only position.
