Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Mandatory evenings and weekends for additional pay
  • Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their specific massage therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals
  • Provide deep tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques to address pain management and promote relaxation
  • Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment throughout the massage therapy session
  • Currently looking for Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, and Sundays
  • Must be available to work some evenings and at least 2 weekend days each month
Experience:
  • Must be a licensed massage therapist
  • Desire at least 2 years experience; experience with cupping, lymphatic, ashiatsu, or reiki is a plus; additional compensation offered for additional modalities and experience
  • Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and acute pain management
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
