Responsibilities:
  • Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to address clients' specific needs
  • Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide acute pain management and relief for clients with musculoskeletal issues
  • Utilize knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform massage treatments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to coordinate patient care
  • Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
  • Ensure a high level of patient service and satisfaction by delivering personalized and professional care
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
  • Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to conduct physical examinations and assess patients' needs effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and other healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices and ergonomics is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
