Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them relieve stress, reduce pain, and improve their overall well-being. Your expertise in patient assessment and various massage techniques will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient service. - Perform patient assessments to determine their specific needs and preferences
- Administer deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and other therapeutic techniques to address clients' concerns
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to tailor treatments to individual clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SOAP notes and documentation
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room and workspace
Requirements:
- Valid North Carolina Massage Therapist license
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach towards patients
- Ability to assess patients' needs and customize treatments accordingly
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and provide guidance on post-treatment care
