Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage to address individual client needs. Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits. Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment adhering to all health and safety standards. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and professionally with diverse clients. Expertise in patient assessment to tailor treatments effectively. Proficiency in advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for targeted pain relief. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to understand client conditions thoroughly. Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience that encourages repeat visits. Familiarity with occupational health principles relevant to workplace wellness programs. Prior experience in med spas or similar environments is highly desirable for understanding specialized treatment protocols.
