Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on massage benefits and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed treatment records while adhering to confidentiality standards and medical terminology protocols Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining equipment Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide personalized care experiences Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health treatments Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop customized treatment plans CPR certification is required or willing to obtain upon hire Prior experience in med spa settings or wellness centers is preferred but not mandatory Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy techniques and industry standards Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences!
