In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals in a supportive environment. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies to enhance long-term wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and industry best practices. Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their pain management objectives and overall health strategies. Stay current with industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and new massage techniques to continually improve service quality. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and professional communication. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities for pain management. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is preferred. Excellent assessment skills for evaluating patient needs and developing effective treatment plans. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client confidentiality.
