Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. You will work in a supportive environment that values your expertise and encourages professional growth. Duties Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stored. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to enhance patient service and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest techniques in massage therapy, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to ensure high-quality service. Skills Strong knowledge of occupational health principles and practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques as well as trigger point therapy. Familiarity with med spa environments and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy. Ability to effectively manage pain through appropriate therapeutic techniques.
