Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session Educate clients on self-care practices, injury prevention, and occupational health strategies Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and client records in compliance with licensing standards Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Uphold all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification 2 years of experience minimum Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Familiarity with pain management strategies and understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Specialized modality training is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their individual needs Knowledge of occupational health principles to support injury prevention and recovery efforts We are committed to being the best Massage studio in Salem and New Hampshire.
