In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. Must be able to do deep tissue Swedish cupping therapy prenatal lymphatic draining Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide personalized care that addresses pain management and occupational health issues. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds. Expertise in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. In-depth knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and address concerns effectively. Experience in pain management strategies and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans. Knowledge of CPR certification requirements and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Prior med spa or healthcare facility experience is preferred but not required; a passion for helping others achieve wellness is essential.
