Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs massages according to policy and procedure 2. Create SOAP notes in MindBody Software after each massage 3. Has knowledge of other wellness services at the Chambers Center. 4. May examine client and recommend other services and products to complement their chief complaint and goals. 5. Attend all team meetings 6. Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment room throughout shift 7. Other duties as assigned. Graduate of an accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training in massage therapy. Nationally Certified or Board Certified Massage and Body work Therapist having completed the National Certification Exam. Minimum of 1-year experience in a medical setting. Additional certifications in 1 or more of the following areas are required:
Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Oncology Massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Competencies:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Excellent communications skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Mindbody Software knowledge a plus Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to speak effectively. Ability to work independently.
