Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols throughout each session. Provide exceptional patient service by actively listening, addressing questions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Experience Proven experience in medical spa settings or similar environments with a focus on patient care and therapeutic massage. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Prior experience assessing patient needs through detailed evaluations and developing customized treatment plans. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Familiarity with occupational health practices related to workplace wellness programs is a plus.
