Description The Massage Therapist provides massage therapy to patients under the Palliative Care Program. The Massage Therapist is responsible for identifying, assessing, planning and implementing appropriate massage care plan for inpatient residents to improve muscle tone, circulation, range of motion and address physical symptoms related to their illness and or disease progression. Functions as an additional resource for other members of the palliative care team as needed via consultation and educational offerings. Supports the Agency's mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.
