The position of Licensed Massage Therapist is responsible for developing a full-capacity practice, providing educational venues for Clifton Springs Hospital & clinic staff, community, and assisting other professional staff within The Springs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Treatment. Provide massage therapy (Swedish, Deep Tissue and Signature), hydrotherapy and other bodywork treatments for clients; assist in poultices and other special treatments; demonstrate evaluation skills, palpation accuracy and recognize contraindications to treatment Leadership & Collaboration. Assist with educational programs for hospital staff and community; participate in research projects; write articles both in concert with other practitioners and alone General Duties. Spa Attendant duties as assigned (housekeeping, maintaining supplies, assisting other practitioners with rooming, etc.)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of NYS-recognized massage school
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
NYS licensure as a massage therapist. Compassionate, kind, and patient-focused Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel

PAY RANGE
$20.00•$27.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date , relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
