Join our team as a Massage Therapist and help our clients achieve relaxation and wellness through your expertise in massage therapy. We are seeking a skilled individual who is knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, pain management, and various massage techniques to provide exceptional patient service. Position Summary Floatopia's Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that compliments Floatopia's other wellness offerings, improves overall sense of well-being, and enhances the guest's experience. They work to build relationships with guests and staff to educate on benefits of massage therapy. They are responsible to designing sessions around guests specific needs and suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions. They work with the entire Floatopia team to provide a superior experience in a professional and relaxing atmosphere.Duties:
- Perform deep tissue massages, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques to address clients' needs
- Utilize your understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals
- Provide acute pain management solutions for clients seeking relief
- Collaborate with the team in a med spa setting to enhance clients' overall experience
- Maintain occupational health standards to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in anatomy and physiology knowledge
- Prior experience in pain management and acute pain relief techniques
- Familiarity with deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Experience in a med spa or similar medical setting is a plus
