Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist and/or Massage Therapist to join our team. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing various techniques to promote relaxation and alleviate pain. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Utilize techniques and pain management strategies to address acute and chronic as well as promote overall wellness. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitizing techniques and industry standards. Provide excellent patient service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in patient conditions using appropriate medical terminology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient care and outcomes. Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture and massage therapy practices and physiology knowledge. Qualifications Valid acupuncture and/or massage therapy license or certification from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and acute pain management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to perform various acupuncture and massage techniques while maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
