You will be responsible for medical massage within our multidisciplinary practice including chiropractic care and pain management. In this vital role, you will deliver professional massage services that promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques will help clients feel rejuvenated and empowered to live healthier lives. Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and medical massage therapy to address individual client needs Conduct patient assessments, including understanding their health history and specific pain points, to tailor treatment plans effectively Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress, adhering to confidentiality standards Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and physiology knowledge Ensure all safety protocols are followed and occupational health standards, to provide a safe environment for clients and staff Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist Proven experience in medical massage therapy Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare environments Demonstrated commitment to occupational health standards and continuous professional development in massage therapy fields
