Prenatal Massage Therapist (Lymphatic Drainage a Plus)

  • Part-time, Contract Prenatal Massage Therapist — Independent Contractor LIC Acupuncture & Wellness is a results-focused, integrative care clinic in one of NYC's fastest-growing, high-income neighborhoods.
Our fertility and women's health practice serves educated, health-conscious patients through every stage — from trying to conceive and IVF support through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. We're hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist with training and experience in prenatal massage to build a dedicated prenatal and postpartum offering within our fertility and women's health practice. Experience or certification in manual lymphatic drainage is a strong plus You'll provide care in a professional clinical setting alongside acupuncturists who focus on fertility, women's health, pelvic floor care, pain, and stress-related conditions. Clinic Availability We currently have treatment room availability on: Tuesdays and Thursdays This role is best suited for someone who can offer consistent availability and grow with patient demand. Compensation $80 per session, plus tips. Total per-session earnings commonly exceed $100. The Role Provide prenatal massage through pregnancy and into postpartum recovery, as well as fertility-stage bodywork when appropriate. Depending on your experience and training, the role may also include: Manual lymphatic drainage Therapeutic and recovery-focused massage Massage for muscle tension, pain, and stress-related conditions Care for general clinic patients This is a clinical wellness setting, not a spa-style massage role. It's best suited for a therapist who wants to deliver high-quality, clinically minded care and develop a long-term professional presence in prenatal, postpartum, and lymphatic drainage bodywork. Requirements Valid New York State Massage Therapy License Prenatal massage certification or documented advanced training in prenatal bodywork Active professional liability insurance Demonstrated experience with pregnant and postpartum clients Eligible to work in the United States Reliable, punctual, and clinically focused Comfortable working independently Values professional communication and collaborative care Preferred Manual lymphatic drainage certification or documented advanced training Serious interest in pursuing lymphatic drainage training Five or more years of massage therapy experience Significant hands-on experience with prenatal and postpartum clients Experience working in a clinical, wellness, or healthcare setting If you specialize in prenatal bodywork and want to grow your work in a clinical setting that takes it seriously, we'd love to hear from you.
