Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and recovery. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding treatment goals, progress, and any necessary adjustments. Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards, including CPR certification and proper hygiene protocols. Keep detailed records of client sessions, including medical history, treatment notes, and progress reports. Stay current with industry trends and expand your skills in areas like physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and med spa procedures to enhance client care. Qualifications Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR. Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly. Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
