Job Description
TMJ & Buccal Massage Specialist (LMT) Part-Time | Saratoga County, NY $40/hour + tips | Flexible Schedule I'm looking for a licensed massage therapist who is passionate about helping people feel better, long-term. Functional Skin & Wellness is growing into a collaborative practice where we look beyond symptoms. My goal is to build a team that helps clients understand how stress, lifestyle, muscular tension, inflammation, nutrition, and skin health all work together. This isn't a traditional spa position. I'm looking for someone who loves anatomy, enjoys solving problems, and wants to become the practice's specialist in TMJ dysfunction, facial tension, headaches, neck pain, and buccal massage. What You'll Do Perform TMJ, buccal, facial, neck, and shoulder treatments Help clients experiencing jaw tension, clenching, grinding, headaches, and facial tightness Educate clients on simple home care and stretching within your scope of practice Maintain professional documentation Collaborate with other providers as our wellness team grows Who You Are Licensed Massage Therapist in New York Experienced with (or eager to specialize in) TMJ and buccal massage Strong understanding of facial and cervical anatomy Warm, professional, and confident educating clients Excited by the idea of helping build something unique from the ground up Experience with myofascial release, intraoral massage, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, or headache treatment is a plus. I regularly invest in learning and plan to attend wellness conferences, advanced trainings, and industry events throughout the year. My goal is to bring team members along whenever possible so we can continue learning together and bring the latest evidence-informed techniques back to our clients. You'll have the opportunity to help shape this specialty, contribute ideas, and grow alongside a practice that's still in its early stages.
