Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Independent Contractor Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services to clients seeking relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness enhancement. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering exceptional care that promotes health and well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through tailored massage techniques and personalized assessments, creating a positive and rejuvenating experience for every individual. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and occupational health massages tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology Adhere to safety protocols and follow hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, and massage therapy techniques to enhance service quality Skills Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and client communication Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Expertise in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective treatment plans based on individual needs Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Knowledge of occupational health principles related to workplace ergonomics and injury prevention Ability to work independently as an contractor while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client confidentiality Join us in delivering exceptional wellness experiences that transform lives!
