Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques, combined with your dedication to patient care, will create a calming and healing environment that encourages clients to return time and again. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and industry standards Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions, and foster trust and comfort Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification Proven experience in massage therapy modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology familiarity Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds Certification in CPR or first aid is required for safety compliance Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise into a vibrant environment where patient service is at the forefront!
