Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, eager and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Two day commitment for a 4 hour time block ! One week day and one weekend :) with the ability to pick up more! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional client care. You must have the ability to work independently while also being thorough & prompt. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, and delivering skilled massage services to promote relaxation, and overall well-being inside an upscale spa. Duties Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, hot stone, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to provide effective treatments tailored to each patient. Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings or med spa environments as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance skills through professional development opportunities. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution in OH. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in patient service and assessment with a focus on individualized care. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, & relaxation massages with and without hot stones Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service. Light receptionist duties Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
