Fit Spa Wellness Collective is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Lead Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing health and wellness practice in The Village / Oklahoma City. Our incoming Lead Massage Therapist will have the opportunity to step into an established massage schedule and active clientele , providing a strong foundation from day one while continuing to develop long-term client relationships and grow their schedule. In addition to maintaining their own massage practice, our Lead Massage Therapist will help oversee, support, and grow the massage therapy department , working alongside our other therapists and Fit Spa leadership to maintain an exceptional standard of care and client experience. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a polished, dependable, and experienced massage therapist who: Is seeking a full-time, long-term professional massage therapy position Has strong hands-on skills and confidence working with a variety of client needs Is comfortable stepping into a leadership role within our massage department Can help support, guide, and communicate with other massage therapists on the Fit Spa team Takes pride in maintaining high standards for client care, professionalism, and the overall massage experience Is comfortable maintaining a busy and established massage schedule Understands client retention and enjoys developing long-term therapeutic relationships Is dependable, organized, and highly professional Communicates confidently with clients, fellow therapists, and other providers Enjoys collaborating with chiropractors and other wellness professionals Is motivated to help the massage department continue to grow, improve, and thrive Has an interest in wellness, movement, recovery, and performance Thrives in a positive, professional, and energetic wellness environment Massage Therapy Responsibilities Provide professional, high-quality, customized massage therapy based on each client's individual needs and goals Confidently manage an established client schedule while continuing to develop relationships with new clients Assess client needs and appropriately modify techniques and treatment approaches Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy for recovery, mobility, stress management, and ongoing wellness Develop strong client relationships that encourage retention and referrals Maintain accurate professional documentation and client confidentiality Collaborate with our chiropractors and other wellness professionals when appropriate Become knowledgeable about Fit Spa's services, packages, and wellness offerings to make appropriate recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming treatment environment Represent Fit Spa professionally and contribute positively to our team culture Lead Therapist Responsibilities In addition to maintaining their own massage clientele and schedule, the Lead Massage Therapist will play an important role in the continued success and development of Fit Spa's massage department.
Leadership responsibilities may include:
Help oversee the day-to-day operations and overall standards of the massage department Serve as a resource and point of communication for other massage therapists Help onboard, support, and mentor massage therapists as the department grows Encourage consistency in client experience, professionalism, documentation, and treatment-room standards Communicate department needs, opportunities, and concerns with Fit Spa leadership Help identify opportunities to improve massage services, client retention, scheduling, and department growth Collaborate with Fit Spa leadership on massage offerings, packages, promotions, and client education Help foster a positive, professional, and collaborative culture within the massage department Lead by example through exceptional professionalism, reliability, client care, and teamwork Qualifications Current and valid Oklahoma Massage Therapy License Massage Therapy School Certificate of Completion Professional liability insurance required Minimum 500 hours of massage therapy education 2+ years of professional massage therapy experience strongly preferred Strong therapeutic massage skills and client communication Previous leadership, mentoring, or senior therapist experience is a plus Experience in a chiropractic, wellness, medical, sports, or spa environment is a plus Reliable transportation Professional, dependable, and organized Ability and desire to maintain a consistent full-time schedule Schedule This position is designed as a full-time massage therapy role . We want our Lead Massage Therapist to have the opportunity to maintain a strong, consistent schedule while also having a healthy work-life balance. Saturday availability is optional and not required. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on therapist availability and the needs of the established client schedule.
