Overview Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist, where your expertise will help clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role offers the flexibility to craft personalized massage experiences using a variety of techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and sports massage. As a vital part of our wellness community, you will deliver exceptional patient service while promoting health and healing through professional massage therapy. Your passion for improving clients' well-being will be the driving force behind every session. We provide massage table, sheets, client robe, even DVD player. Pay is calculated per treatment hour, whether 60, 90 or 120 minutes Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and sports massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide guidance on post-session care. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment notes, and progress updates in compliance with privacy standards. Stay informed about current trends in occupational health and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy to enhance service quality. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized wellness plans that support long-term health goals. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and sports massage. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions and tailor treatments effectively. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
