Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Independent Contractor Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As an independent contractor, you will manage your own schedule and client base while delivering high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address patient needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of pain or tension Provide personalized massage therapy sessions focused on pain management, relaxation, and overall wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments administered and patient progress Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing therapy or self-care practices Ensure a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in compliance with health regulations Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities Experience Proven experience in patient service and therapeutic massage Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Prior experience working in a med spa or similar environment is highly desirable Knowledge of occupational health standards and best practices for client safety and comfort This role offers the flexibility to build your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on clients' health and well-being. We value professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to patient care. We are hiring for both full and part time shifts. Therapists start with a 50% commission, with regular raises and our shifts are always full. Experienced therapists can negotiate a higher commission, reflective of their work experience in the industry.
