Job Description

The Wine Spa—named one of Time's 100 Greatest Places in the World —is opening a second location in Dundee, and we're hiring a few experienced Licensed Massage Therapists to join our small, high-performing team. This is the second location of an emerging and growing business — but our books are already filling! We're looking for 2-3 LMTs for part-time hours on-call (up to 4-5 shifts) with weekend availability strongly preferred. As a new business, we are still growing and would love for you to grow with us! This a great position for a therapist looking for supplemental income rather than full-time work. If you're applying, tell us your availability—and more importantly, why this kind of environment excites you.
NOTE:
This position is in Dundee, OR, and requires you to be on-site there. Please do not apply if the commute is too much for you. Who We Are We are not your average day spa. We're building something thoughtful, elevated, and unique. As Portland's home of vinotherapy, we bring an ancient, global wellness ritual into a modern, immersive experience rooted in grape and vine. Our guests come to unplug, exhale, and feel taken care of. We are the most unique spa experience in Portland and the only wine spa in the entire country. We value a small but dynamic team where everyone pitches in to get the job done. No egos. No drama. We value our crew and our crew values us!
We value:
Mindfulness
  • being fully present with every guest, every treatment, every detail Wellness
  • for our clients and our team (burnout is not the goal here) Sustainability
  • in our practices, products, and pace of work Community
  • showing up for each other quickly, kindly, and without being asked Our standards are high, but so is our respect level.
We'll never ask you to do something that the owner/managers wouldn't do themselves. If you take pride in your craft, care deeply about the guest experience, and want to be part of something special—we'd love to meet you. What It's Like to Work Here We are intentionally not a churn-and-burn massage chain. You'll find: Consistent, steady work A supportive team that has your back A calm, beautifully designed environment A clear path for growth and skill-building No pressure to aggressively sell add-ons We believe great work happens when practitioners feel respected and supported —and we run a tight, well-oiled operation to support that. You'll be paid a strong hourly rate for both booked sessions and the in-between moments. In return, we show up as a team—and everyone pitches in to keep the space running beautifully. What You'll Do Deliver exceptional, customized massage experiences with a calm, grounded presence Create a quiet, deeply relaxing environment (we keep talking minimal—this is their time) Perform Swedish and deep tissue massages with confidence and care Conduct thoughtful consultations and maintain accurate client records and SOAP notes. Uphold impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards Support your team—jumping in where needed without hesitation Participate in ongoing training and contribute to elevating the guest experience What We're Looking For Licensed Oregon Massage Therapist (in good standing with OBMT) Reliable, punctual, and accountable Someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't cut corners A team player—low ego, high ownership Emotionally intelligent, grounded, and drama-free Someone who notices what needs to be done—and does it We're not just hiring for skill—we're hiring for energy, integrity, and presence. Compensation & Benefits Our massage therapists earn 35% commission on services, plus 100% of their gratuities, with additional bonus opportunities for: Direct bookings with clients Membership sales Upselling service enhancements and add-ons For reference, our most popular service is $199. At a 35% commission, that's $69.65 in commission for approximately 50 minutes of hands-on massage time. With our average gratuity of around $40, therapists typically earn about $110 from an appointment before any bonuses. Many therapists increase their earnings even further through membership enrollments, repeat client bookings, and add-on services. Depending on your schedule and clientele, this compensation structure provides strong earning potential while rewarding therapists who build lasting relationships with guests and help grow the business.
