WE ARE HIRING ENERGY. FLORAWELL
is a small, intentional holistic wellness studio looking for a licensed massage therapist who is warm, grounded, intuitive, reliable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. We are not interested in hiring just anyone. We are building a team—and a community—and the right person matters.
COMPENSATION + PERKS
$42 per 60-minute massage 100% of your tips $5 incentives for qualifying add-ons, Google reviews, and MVA referrals Paid prep time W-2 employment Opportunities to continue learning and develop additional modalities Supportive, low-volume environment focused on quality over quantity Opportunity to build meaningful, long-term client relationships
SCHEDULE + AVAILABILITY
We have shifts available between 9:30 AM-7:30 PM. Weekend availability is required, particularly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent, reliable schedule. Sporadic availability is not a fit for this position. We prioritize quality over volume. We typically schedule no more than three 90-minute massages back-to-back, with 30 minutes between appointments to allow for turnover, documentation, and a proper client experience. There is no front desk. Our LMTs are an important part of the entire client experience and are responsible for: Managing their own appointment schedule Greeting and communicating with clients Completing consultations and documentation Preparing and resetting their treatment room Checking clients out after their appointments Rebooking clients when appropriate Maintaining a clean and welcoming studio Communicating with management and the rest of the team We trust our practitioners with a lot of responsibility—and expect that responsibility to be taken seriously.
THE RIGHT FIT
Ideally, you are: Warm, kind, intuitive, and adaptable Confident in your skills while remaining open to learning Passionate about massage therapy and continued education Comfortable performing deep tissue massage Someone who cares about the entire client experience, not just the treatment Professional, accountable, and dependable Comfortable working independently while contributing to a close-knit team Interested in growing your skills and developing areas of specialty An East West College graduate or have comparable therapeutic massage training
OUR NON-NEGOTIABLES
Care deeply. Know your craft. Communicate directly. Take ownership. No ego. We expect our team to treat clients and each other with the same level of care, respect, and professionalism. We address issues directly, value accountability, and believe feedback should happen early and respectfully. Talent is important—but how you show up matters just as much.
RELIABILITY MATTERS
Being on time means being inside the studio, prepared and ready to work 30 minutes before your first appointment.
LMTs are expected to:
Arrive 30 minutes before their first appointment Stay 30 minutes after their final appointment for closing responsibilities Communicate proactively and professionally Follow
FLORAWELL
policies and procedures Respect client and team time Maintain a clean, calm, professional environment Repeated lateness, poor communication, or failure to follow expectations is not a fit for our studio.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
All-black professional attire No cleavage or exposed midriff No slippers or Crocs Athletic shoes are welcome No personal cell phones in treatment rooms Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times Zero tolerance for sexual misconduct or harassment Treat clients, coworkers, and the studio with respect We don't do drama. We don't do ego. We don't do bullshit.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING FLORAWELL
is more than a place to perform massage. We are a community. We want practitioners who want to learn from each other, share their expertise, contribute ideas, and help create an exceptional experience for every client. We believe the way we care for each other should feel like the way we care for our clients. We intentionally keep our team small and are selective about who joins us.
REQUIREMENTS
Active Oregon Massage Therapist license Professional liability insurance Reliable transportation Strong communication and professional skills Ability to perform deep tissue massage Commitment to continued learning Two professional references Reliable weekend availability Ability to consistently meet FLORAWELL's scheduling and punctuality expectations If you're looking for somewhere to simply clock in, see your clients, and leave, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're kind, skilled, curious, dependable, and want to help build something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you. We would rather wait for the right person than hire the wrong one.
