- 46+ per hour anticipated total compensation $20/hour base pay during massage sessions and 15-minute gaps between bookings 10-20% commission , based on experience Tips Flexible scheduling Employee discounts on products and services A clean, peaceful spa environment Opportunity to build a regular clientele Supportive team environment without a high-pressure sales culture What You'll Do Provide customized massage treatments based on each client's individual needs and goals Create a safe, comfortable, relaxing experience for every client Perform a variety of massage techniques, with an emphasis on relaxation and pain relief Communicate professionally and effectively with clients Educate clients about massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up services when beneficial Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and current massage therapy practices Receive and implement constructive feedback as part of ongoing professional growth Help maintain a clean and welcoming treatment room and assist with light laundry/housekeeping as needed Work independently while being a positive and collaborative member of our team
What We're Looking For Required:
Current Oregon Massage Therapist (LMT) license in good standing Personal professional liability insurance Professional, dependable, and personable Strong communication skills Comfortable working independently Experience is preferred but not required. We are open to newer LMTs who are confident in their skills and eager to continue learning. Schedule We are currently looking for someone who can work primarily:Monday:
1:00-7:00PM Tuesday:
1:00-7:00PM Wednesday:
1:00-7:00PM Some Thursdays:
1:00-7:00 PM As your schedule fills, there is an opportunity to expand into an 11:00 AM start time . We are starting with afternoon hours and gradually increasing availability as your clientele grows. There may be some flexibility with the schedule for the right candidate. Part-time hours to start, with the potential for additional hours as your schedule fills. Compensation Our compensation model is designed to reward therapists as they build their clientele. $20/hour base pay while performing massage services and during 15-minute gaps between bookings 10-20% commission , negotiated based on experience Tips Expected total compensation: approximately $35- 46+ per hour , depending on bookings, commission, and tips.
